academic writing for thesis and paper

Hi all, as an international PhD student, I am wondering does anyone have any ideas about how to improve academic writing for thesis and paper?    My supervisor told me that my writing english is not native enough. But besides of the grammars, I think my expression may also have some problems. As I am not a native speaker, I couldn't find

Warwick Skills Portfolio Award

Does anyone know anything about the award, how you start it, etc. Seems there is some enrolment you have to do, but it's not obvious how you go about doing it.

PhD interview

I've been invited for an interview at Bristol university following my application for a Maths PhD there. I'm not too sure what to expect, the questions I'll be asked, and the questions I should ask. I'm meeting the admissions tutor, and the supervisor I proposed in my application and a few other potential supervisors. Anyone who has gone through this experience have any advice?

Impostor syndrome

Has anyone been to this workshop? http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/skills/pgr/programme/p4r/ The next one is not for several months and as an MSc I'm not technically legible, however, I really identify with the symptoms of this phenomonon. Does anyone have any advice for how to manage this or can point me towards some reading?

Printing and submitting the thesis

Hi, I am hoping to submit my thesis in Dec (fingers crossed!). I'm part time and based off campus (in London), so I was wondering if anyone could share their experience of printing the thesis, getting it binded, and then submitted? I thought I'd be able to do all of this on one day, but then realised Warwick print need a full day to get a soft bind. I also haven't used the printer at my department for over 2 years. So I'm thinking it might be better if I spend one day getting it printed and dr
